Midnight Call magazines available in PDF for online reading

Dutch evangelist Dr. Wim Malgo [1922-1992] founded Midnight Call in 1955 with a four-fold purpose in mind: (1) To call people to Christ; (2) To proclaim the Second Coming of Christ; (3) To prepare the Church for His coming; and (4) To uphold the faith and warn of false doctrines.

“Midnight Call” Statement of Faith

We believe in the divine inspiration of the whole Bible and therewith the infallibility of the Holy Scripture, which is God’s Word, and in the eternal Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and shed His blood to save mankind. He died and arose bodily the third day and later ascended into heaven.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died in the place of each individual sinner and that all who believe in Him as their personal Savior are justified through His shed blood and have become children of God.

We believe that Israel is God’s chosen people, and that the restoration of the Jews to their own land is the fulfillment of the Word of God.

We believe in the pre–tribulational appearance of Jesus Christ for the Rapture of His Church (all born again believers).

We believe in the immortality of our souls and the resurrection of our bodies, and in the resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting punishment of the lost.

You write about “salvation” and I want to comment on that.

[To differentiate,]
It is highly relevant for Christians whom want to follow the Ribi [similar to “rabbi”] Yehoshua - the Messiah - to know what was written in his authentic teachings. His authentic teachings were later redacted into the “gospel of Matthew” [note 1]. In his true teachings one finds that he taught – just that which is written in the Jewish Bible (which Christians calls the “GT”) – that humankind are required to do their utmost to keep the directives in Torah [“the books of Moses”] non-selectively. [ note 2]
Neither he, nor his followers, accepted the “NT”.

According to the Jewish Bible (which Christians wrongly calls the “OT”) a person need to do his/her best to keep the directives of Torah; and only when a person is doing this will the Creator bestow His forgiveness in His loving kindness for that persons missteps and previous transgressions of the directives in the Torah. One is not allowed to deliberately breach the Creator’s directives of Torah, including the prohibition to eat pork and shellfish. I did deliberate transgressions of the directives in the Torah when I was a devoted Christian, and thus I now understand that I didn’t have a relationship with the Creator during the six years when I was a devoted Christian (first a Pentecostal and then a “Messianic”). [note 1]

Ribi Yehoshua was not a “Saviour”. He was not an “incarnate man-god”. He was a human. Ribi Yehoshua – the Messiah - lived and kept Torah with the sincerest of his heart, died innocently and became a sacrifice. Because of this the Creator can give His forgiveness for the shortcomings in keeping the directives in Torah of everyone doing his/her sincerest to keep His Instructions found in Torah; and to everyone turning away from their Torah-breaches to instead starting to do their sincerest to keep the Creators’ Instructions in Torah. This is perfectly in accordance with Yekhezeqeil [“Hezekiel”] 18 and Yeshayahu [“Isaiah”] 1:17-18 in Hebrew.

Relating to the Creator exactly in the same way Ribi Yehoshua did – by observing the Creators directives in Torah non-selectively (more than just seven groups of mitzwot [military-style orders or directives]; leads you into a relationship with the Creator, which is highly meaningful!
